BLENNZ RTVs have been making use of the sensory room as a place to give early childhood ākonga new experiences and a chance for whānau to meet and get to know each other.

Two RTVs have been trained in using the sensory room. BLENNZ Hamilton has a timeslot booked each fortnight for 30-60min and different whānau are invited to attend. Some do this regularly and others just once or twice.

This provides for whānau to connect with each other alongside their children and explore the activities together. This has been a great way to introduce a great resources in our local community to whānau.
